Veritas is a nice little wine bar on Henderson Ave. The space is very comfortable, complete with ample seating, a fireplace, lots of wine on display and local art adorning the walls. It's a great place to gather with friends or take a date. If the first two options don't fit your social life, it's not a bad spot to bring a book or hide behind a laptop either.

Veritas features more than 300 wines and has a rotating selection of about 20 by the glass. The wines by the glass are half price on Mondays, and while Veritas is a good time any night of the week, I typically find myself there on Mondays taking advantage of the great deals.

Aside from wine, Veritas has a solid beer selection and offers up small plates of assorted meats, cheeses and chocolate.
