Bolsa is a great restaurant/bar on the western edge of Oak Cliff's Bishop Arts District. All menu items are fresh and seasonal, so the menu's changing constantly. The food is a mix between upscale cuisine and comfort food, with items like grilled portobello flatbread, bone-in pork chop, mussels and carpaccio.
While the food's good, the drinks may be the best in all of Dallas. Especially now that Jason Kosmas has joined Lucky Campbell behind the bar. The cocktails are crafted with serious precision. If nothing suits you on the drink menu (which it should, as the menu is large and awesome), simply ask your bartender to whip you up something special per your preferences.
The restaurant design is urban and modern, and the outdoor patio makes for a great seat, even in winter as it's heated.
Bolsa is really popular, especially on the weekends, so consider going early or fighting your way to the bar for a few drinks, as they don't take reservations.
