Howard Stern signs for more 'America's Got Talent'

Good news, Talent fans.
NBC announced today that Howard Stern will return as a judge for a second season on America's Got Talent.
NBC exec Paul Telegdy says Stern's presence on the show "made a dramatic impact and added a sharper edge."
The "King of All Media," as Stern loves to call himself, broke the news to listeners on his SiriusXM show this morning, saying that despite his apprehension about the hours, he's enjoyed his time on the show.
"I'm very, very excited, honestly, about going back to America's Got Talent," he said, reports Newsday. "I'm very excited to be working again with [executive producer] Simon Cowell and NBC and all the various folks who work there."
"I think that's great, because I certainly enjoy you on the show," said sidekick Robin Quivers.
Stern is the first Talent judge to announce he'll be back for the show's eighth season. Sharon Osbourne has been vocal about not returning. And there has been no word yet about Howie Mandel.
Stern said on the air that he had no idea who would be replacing Osbourne, but promised, "If I don't like the new judge, I'll hit the X (buzzer) on the judge while they're talking. I'll be like, 'Shut up, no one wants to hear from you. Believe me, if I was the only judge, I think the show would be terrific."
